1. What is soy wax? A vegetable wax that is extracted from the oil of a soybean.

 

2. Where does the soy wax come from? Farmed and manufactured in the USA. Its 100% all natural! That means no additives, paraffins or fillers. We support U.S. made materials only.

 

3. What ingredients do you use in your candle? Soy wax, lead free cotton/paper wicks, containers, essential based oils that are paraben and phthalate free. We believe in burning clean and safe products.

 

4. Why is soy wax a better wax? It burns 30-50% longer and cleaner than any other waxes. Paraffin is a petroleum based wax releasing chemicals in the air that is harmful when burning. Soy is eco-friendly and sustainable. Purchasing soy wax helps U.S. farmers too! You are making a healthier choice when choosing soy.

 

5. Why do you have a warning label on the bottom of your candle? To help prevent fires and damage! Please be aware of where you place your candle. Keep away from drafts, children and pets. Do not burn more than 3 hours at a time or leave candle unattended.

 

6. How will my product(s) get to me safely? We carefully hand wrap each candle securely to prevent breakage or damage to your new candle(s). Tracking information is provided along with your purchase, so you can see where it is at all times.

 

7. What if my order doesn't arrive or is broken? It is rare that our USPS service loses items or items are damaged, but if lost or broken - each package is insured with tracking information. We get documented information regarding where item is or if misplaced. For any reason that your order has these issues en-route, a new order may be shipped to you immediately. Please notify us with proof of a broken item or explain your situation to us at kouklaskorner@gmail.com We are happy to make your experience better!

 

8. What if I do not like my order? We strive to create an enjoyable experience through our candles! If there is any reason you do not like your candle scent, style of container ect. - we are able to replace product with a new one if unused, unburned or unbroken at no additional cost. 9. Are your products available for wholesale and able to be sold in our retail stores? Yes! Koukla's is able to customize candles for retailing purposes. Add your logo to a tag or label on our hand crafted product for your next collection. We are able to accommodate custom orders for special events and parties too. 10. How do I care for my candle? It is important to us that you get the best results when burning your new candle! To begin, light candle and allow to burn evenly for about an hour. This allows the candle to create an even burn pool on the top layer, which prevents a tunnel effect, ultimately maximizing usage of candle. To achieve a long lasting burn, trim 1/4 inch of the cotton/paper wick each time before relighting. This makes for a soft burn without build-up. Once you have burned through your candle - reuse and repurpose! Glassware is easy to repurpose. Place remaining container with 1 inch or less wax that is left over in the freezer for 45 minutes. Once hardened, pop out wax with a stiff object, wash and clean.

11. Will each candle be the same if I re-order? The process is the same for hand pouring each individual soy candle. We liquify soy at a specific temperature, so it will be smooth and even when poured and cooled. Our essential fragrance oils have a wonderful scent throw in our natural wax versus paraffin wax. You will be receiving a consistent slow burning fragrant candle that is carcinogen-free and clean when lit. When shipping candles, temperatures and seasons change. So will the soy wax. It may shrink in the cooler temps or sweat in the warmer temps. Be mindful changes will occur in travel. Frosting may occur due to the natural material of soy. There is no additives or preservatives to prevent this. We believe in natural soy only If purchasing dyed soy wax - please note shades and variances will appear. We aim to create the exact shade, but hand crafted work is unique in its own way making not every candle the exact same.
